ADriatic Network of artistic production for the development and enhancement of Intangible Cultural Heritage

The Montenegrin Centre of the International Theatre Institute was created thanks to the support of the European program INTERREG IPA CBC Italy – Albania – Montenegro.
Thanks to the ADNICH project, “ADriatic Network of artistic production for the development and enhancement of Intangible Cultural Heritage”, supported by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy – Albania – Montenegro program, the Centre was established.
The main goal of the project ADNICH was to increase cross border cooperation for audience development, by promoting the enhancement of intangible assets of the three countries and organizing new forms of experiential and cultural products. The project proposed the creation of a South Adriatic Network between Italy, Albania and Montenegro, with theater residences and workshops involved local communities, aimed at developing joint productions to be promoted within an International Festival of Experimental Theater. The goal was to create a new territorial brand based on arts and cultural tourism.
